Mechanical Engineer (2 Positions: Senior & Junior)

🏭 Automated Conveyor Systems

About the Role

We are establishing a new engineering function in our Kunshan facility and are looking for two Mechanical Engineers - one senior and one junior - to support the design, optimization, and documentation of our automated conveyor products. You will work independently on standardized conveyor modules (belt conveyors, roller conveyors, hoists, transfers) and help integrate them into customized system solutions.

 

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy structured design work, technical accuracy, and cross‑functional collaboration in a small, agile company.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drawing transfer & documentation (≈60%)

  • Convert customer drawing packages (TDP) into internal standards, assign article numbers, and upload data into the ERP system.

  • Production support (≈20%)

  • Analyze and resolve technical or quality issues during manufacturing.

  • Design & R&D (≈20%) - Update and optimize existing conveyor modules

  • Complete detailed design for two conveyor types (concept already defined)

  • Support new product development based on standardized platforms

  • Cross‑functional collaboration - Work closely with production, purchasing, and quality teams; clarify technical questions with customers when needed.

  • Standards & compliance - Interpret mechanical and electromechanical drawings in English/German and apply relevant standards.

 

What Success Looks Like

  • Smooth takeover of engineering tasks from German colleagues without project disruption

  • Completion of detailed design for two conveyor optimization projects

  • Accurate and timely processing of customer drawing packages into internal standards

  • Effective collaboration with production and purchasing to ensure high‑quality output

Mechanical Engineer机械工程师

要求：

ž   本科学历，机械或者机械相关专业，硕士优先考虑

ž   5+以上的机械产品设计经验，有自动化输送系统行业经验，非标设备设计经验；优秀员工可以放宽工作年限限制，也可以考虑从初级岗位做起；

ž   优秀的机械结构设计和理解能力；

ž   会使用主流的几种机械设计软件，比如Inventor 和 SolidWorks；

ž   熟练使用EPR系统；

ž   英语中英文沟通能力佳，会德语更好。

ž   基本不出差

ž   优秀的问题解决能力，注重细节；

ž   交付可靠，高质量，工作认真负责，积极主动；

ž   独立工作能力强，自我负责，有工匠精神。

Job requirements

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Inventor and SolidWorks

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and conveyor systems

  • Experience with ERP‑based engineering workflows

  • Ability to read English (and ideally German) technical drawings

  • Solid command of Microsoft Office

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

ž   完成输送设备的详细设计（整体方案概念已确定）；

ž   基于标准化平台，配合新产品研发工作。

ž   跨部门协同工作：与生产、采购、质量团队紧密配合；必要时对接客户，澄清各类技术疑问。

ž   标准合规管理：解读英文、德文版机械及机电工程图纸，落地执行各类相关行业标准。
